InstanceGuard is an independent ServiceNow configuration risk assessment that replaces the first phase of a consulting engagement — an executive health score, a prioritized remediation roadmap, and evidence-backed findings, in minutes instead of weeks.
Why it exists
Every serious ServiceNow assessment starts the same way: someone experienced spends days combing an instance for the configuration decisions that quietly erode upgrades, performance, and security — then hand-clusters hundreds of findings into the handful of patterns that actually matter. InstanceGuard was built to do that first, mechanical phase automatically and consistently, so the human time goes to judgment and remediation, not discovery.
The result is the insight our customers remember: 1,366 findings become 14 configuration patterns. Know what matters, what to fix first, and what can wait.
Who's behind it
InstanceGuard is built by LivTeq, a ServiceNow Build, Consulting & Implementation partner that has spent the last three years delivering platform implementations for its customers.
It was created by Samir Zaveri, a ServiceNow developer working on the platform since 2018. InstanceGuard grew out of doing configuration assessments by hand and wanting to give every customer the same rigorous first-phase review, consistently and in minutes. His ServiceNow work spans SPM, HRSD, ITSM, SecOps, and custom development.
